You may have interest in becoming a certified mentor, or your school, club, team or organization may have interest in becoming a certified sponsor.
Mentors
Mentors are individuals who introduce, explain and demonstrate technique options, program specifics and safety, while encouraging participants to continue forward independently and with self-initiative.
Certification Fees:

Sponsors
Sponsors are private or public organizations that can offer opportunities, facilities or other resources which promote both the Never Touch Bottom program and the concepts contained therein.
Certification Fees:

- $249 - Two Year*
- $369 - Three Year*
*Organizational sponsors must have a minimum of one certified mentor. The organization's sponsorship fee includes one mentor certification and is site-specific to one pool location.

Certification authorizes mentors and sponsors to use the Never Touch Bottom name and to charge a nominal fee for introduction of program concepts. Certified mentors and sponsors are authorized to use the Never Touch Bottom name for promotions, fundraising and school, club or community activities.
Never Touch Bottom certification requires:
| 1. | visual confirmation of individual capacity to model by example, demonstrating proficiency with a minimum of 4 techniques... including the Roll Over, the Water Bike Stroke and the Placeholder |  |
| 2. | written description of how Never Touch Bottom concepts might be demonstrated and applied |
| 3. | personal commitment to introduce Never Touch Bottom to individuals or small groups during no more than three instructional sessions |
Mentors and sponsors who qualify receive a certificate indicating compliance with Never Touch Bottom program specifics. The certificate includes name and dates of certification authorization.
